Jennfer Nall

President: Jennifer Nall

Jennifer Nall’s principal practice area is intellectual property, with an emphasis on patent litigation and appeals in high-technology cases. Her litigation experience extends to all phases of pre-trial, trial, post-trial and appeal. Prior to law school, Jennifer spent over six years as a microprocessor designer at a large microprocessor manufacturer. Upon graduation from law school, Mrs. Nall was a judicial clerk for the Honorable Timothy Belcher Dyk, United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Jennifer received her J.D., with honors, from The University of Texas School of Law. Jennifer received her B.S. and Masters in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University.


Steve Meleen

Vice-Presdent: Steve Meleen

Steve Meleen is Managing Member of Pirkey Barber PLLC, an Austin-based trademark and copyright boutique firm. Steve handles all aspects of trademark and unfair competition law, and primarily focuses on trademark litigation. He devotes a significant portion of his practice to internet-related trademark issues and is also experienced in copyright counseling and litigation. Steve has a J.D. with honors from The University of Texas School of Law and a B.S. in Engineering Management from Oral Roberts University. Before law school, he was a nuclear engineer at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, where he specialized in reactor plant shielding of nuclear-powered submarines, aircraft carriers, and guided-missile cruisers.


Treasurer: Jennifer Kuhn

Jennifer is Vice President and Chief IP Counsel at Mattersight Corporation, a Chicago and Austin software company. Jennifer has a J.D. cum laude from Cornell University Law School, and was a judicial clerk from the Honorable Judge Arthur Gajarsa of the United States Court of the Federal Circuit.


Aden Allen

Secretary: Aden Allen

Aden Allen is a senior associate at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where his practice focuses on intellectual property and technology litigation. Aden has worked on matters encompassing a wide range of technologies, including generics pharmaceuticals, collaborative online video sharing systems, content delivery networks, and wireless handsets. Prior to attending law school, Aden gained industry experience as an engineer and program manager at Applied Materials. In this role, he managed programs related to spare parts for chemical mechanical polishing and electrochemical plating machines. Aden received his J.D. from Columbia Law School, where he was Articles Editor of the Science, Technology & Law Review. He received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).


Kim Vo

Immedate Past President: Kim Vo

Kim is a Director of Legal at Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. Kim enjoys a diverse practice primarily focused on development agreements, technology licensing, and client counseling. Before practicing law, Kim earned her B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering with a minor in Economics and her M.S. in Materials Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Kim worked as an engineer at both NASA and Motorola before becoming a patent agent and working as a member of Motorola’s Law Department. Subsequently, she obtained a J.D. from The University of Texas, where she graduated with honors. Kim worked as an attorney at Freescale Semiconductor, Inc. (formerly Motorola) primarily preparing and prosecuting patents and working on technology projects and agreements until she joined AMD in 2010.
